Environmental Projects and Restoration of Water Bodies
The restoration of water bodies can involve the removal and treatment of contaminated sediment, or the dredging of eutrophicated areas, as well as the treatment of dredging sludge and water.
With our methods, dredged or contaminated sediments can be treated and dewatered in river, lake, marine, and harbor areas, or waterways.
Stormwater and Wastewater
For stormwater ponds, we draw up plans to empty the pond of sludge and treat the accumulated sludge. We are able to remove nutrients, solids, and harmful substances, such as PFAS, from the water.
Construction Site and Excavation Waters
You can order a construction site water management plan from us, rent equipment for water treatment, buy the necessary consumables, or order the entire process from us.

We conduct a project needs assessment together.

We draw up an action plan and perform the necessary laboratory tests in our own laboratory.

We select the equipment and method best suited for the site to achieve the project goals.

After the equipment is installed, we agree on whether
Arman Oy will implement the project as a comprehensive service, or if the client will manage the process themselves, in which case user guidance and the delivery of consumables are agreed upon separately.

At the conclusion of the project, a final summary is prepared.

Water treatment plant in City of Turku
Hydraulic dredging of sediments was required from an inlet settling basin at water treatment plant. Over time the basin had filled with sediments and needed a filtering.

Gallträsk Lake in Kauniainen recreational area was in critical condition. The quality of water has deteriorated into almost hazardous level and making the area’s only lake nearly un usable for recreational outdoor activities.

Rescuing Lapland’s bird paradise in Kemijärvi
We helped to clean a former paper mill area in Kemijärvi. Area is commonly known as a local bird habitat. Using a suction dredge method more than 300 000 cubics of contaminated soil will be processed and removed together with Vesirakennus Ojanen Oy.
